the property was clean with active and amicable staff. the location was excellent, about 15-minute walk into town. plus it was in a very green area.

Marvellous and stunning location to the railway tracks which makes the nice to the nine arch bridge very nice, and only about 10 minutes' walk to Ella centre. Clean rooms with hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows:)))

The location was stunning and brilliant, in the Ella hills and overlooking the jungle. It was also really close to all the restaurants.

Really enjoyed the double room with balcony, wouldn't mind staying there all day. It was nice to find a microwave, coffee/tea making equipment, and a fridge. The location was nice and lovely, in the jungle especially in the mornings when the monkeys came by!

This hotel is a hidden gem up a hill in the forest, away from the touristy hustle and bustle of the main road. The rooms with private balconies and forest views were cozy and peaceful. The owners and staff were friendly and provided basic amenities with attention to detail. Selected detail from reviews: Breakfast on the balcony surrounded by monkeys and squirrels in the trees was a unique experience.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing except for the local pancakes.

This hotel is a great value for money option located up in the forest with panoramic views and a nice balcony to enjoy them from. The rooms are spacious and come with two large beds, mosquito nets, and are decorated with attention to detail. The staff provides great service and the breakfast, featuring local pancakes and fruit, is a wonderful start to the day.

I had an amazing time staying at this hotel. The owners were super friendly and efficient. The location was perfect - secluded in the middle of nature but still just 5 minutes away from the city center. The room was beautiful with a nice forest view from the balcony.

We chose Green Cottages for its unique location in the forest and were not disappointed. Sitting on the balcony, spotting wildlife while enjoying breakfast was a brilliant experience. The spacious room on stilts was clean and comfortable, and the delicious breakfast on the terrace was a delight. Our host, S. Harbo, made our stay unforgettable, going out of his way to ensure our comfort. Highly recommend this magical and authentic place.

The secluded location of the cottages in the heart of the jungle was simply amazing. The sounds of the wildlife contributed to a unique experience. The cleanliness was remarkable, and the staff was friendly and helpful when we needed something.

We had some issues with the water supply, and it was quite noisy at times because of the construction work next door. Unfortunately, the breakfast didn't meet our expectations and was not very appetizing.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel! The location was perfect, away from the noise of the city, surrounded by nature, and with a beautiful view. We loved waking up to see monkeys, deer, and other animals from our balcony. The hotel facilities were great, everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh local bread and fruits. We also appreciated the fact that we could park our car easily.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
